    How to integrate cyber insurance into your existing MSP package

    Including CYVI's group-based cyber insurance in your existing MSP offering is simple. You only need to report how many licenses of your security package you have sold to a specific customer, either through CYVI's portal or via API.

    In both cases, CYVI is responsible for ensuring that the customer is insured.

    Legal requirements for package integration

    The package must have a clear primary value

    Your service package must primarily relate to IT and cybersecurity. The insurance is a complement, not the main product. Examples of primary components in the package include: Backup, MDR/XDR or monitoring, Email security, Firewall services, etc.

    Customer information required

    For CYVI to issue and activate the insurance, the following information is required for each customer: Organization number (company registration number), Number of licenses for the package that includes the insurance, Contact details for the customer's primary contact, The customer's annual revenue.

    The customer purchases a package, not insurance separately

    The insurance is communicated as part of your MSP package and is not offered as a standalone product.

    The MSP is the policyholder and the customer is the beneficiary

    You, as the MSP, are the policyholder. The end customer is covered under the protection through the package they purchase from you.

    Information handling

    All information is managed via CYVI's portal or automated via API. The end customer is always given the opportunity to review and confirm the information before the insurance is activated. Coverage only becomes effective after the customer has approved the information.
